How the foreign-company route works
Whether you run a UK Ltd, a German GmbH, a French SARL or a US LLC, your business is eligible for an N98 NIF — the version made for companies that trade in Spain without a permanent establishment there.
We file the application for you under a power of attorney. That means no director has to travel, and you will not be asked to notarise, legalise or translate a single document.
Reasons companies come to us for it
- To start selling goods or services into the Spanish market
- To buy or hold a property under the company name
- To register for VAT (IVA) or use the OSS scheme
- To get their EPR and packaging duties in order
- To open a Spanish business bank account
What we actually need from you
In most cases your company registration details plus a signed power of attorney are all it takes for us to obtain the NIF and send it straight back to you.
In Spain
Sorting the nif for foreign companies in Spain means dealing with Agencia Tributaria (Spanish Tax Agency) and its limited appointments. We monitor the system daily and handle the paperwork for residents from Málaga and Sevilla.
