What EPR actually covers
EPR applies to businesses that produce or import packaging, electrical and electronic goods, batteries and a few other product types. If your company places any of these on the Spanish market, the obligation will usually land on you.
You meet it by signing up to and paying into a collective scheme, known as a SCRAP — Ecoembes being the best-known one for household packaging.
The NIF always comes first
There is no way to register for EPR or join a packaging scheme without a Spanish NIF. So we get the NIF in place and then walk you through the EPR and packaging sign-up.
In Spain
Most epr compliance requests across Spain pass through the Spain office. We know exactly what they ask for — and we accompany you, whether you live in central Spain or out in Sevilla.
