Yes. A UK Ltd, US LLC or any non-EU business can get a Spanish NIF through a representative, usually the N98 type for companies with no permanent establishment in Spain.
Yes. The whole thing is remote. Using a power of attorney we register your company's NIF with the Agencia Tributaria, with no travel involved.
The NIF is the starting point. Selling goods usually also brings VAT (IVA) and EPR/packaging duties, which we set up alongside the NIF.
The N98 is the NIF for foreign companies without a permanent establishment. By default it has a few limits — for example, it is not used to hold shares in an S.L. If your plans go further, tell us first and we will recommend the right route.
No. Most foreign companies operate in Spain without one, using the N98 NIF for tax, VAT, EPR and trading purposes.
